PLATFORM BENDING

SOCIAL EXPERIMENT

Why?

I used platform bending to escape my sister's trauma-driven projection, where she trapped me in a false narrative that even those close to me believed, cemented as "Reality" through legal means.

By playing with E-reality, I amplified the lies to show how easily perceptions are distorted online, turning manipulation into art and exposing the dark truth of covert abuse.

HOW?

I unleashed a whirlwind of manic messages across multiple platforms—Facebook, Instagram, Medium, and Twitter—feeding into the false narratives crafted by others. By using AI content and my own chaotic posts, I transformed their projections into a performance of art. This platform bending exposed how easily digital personas can be warped, revealing the fragility and deception behind online identities shaped by external forces.

WHAT

My mission was to expose the chasm between "e-reality" and true reality, showcasing how social media stirs the pot of misinformation, drama, and attention-seeking antics. This digital circus distorts perceptions, revealing just how easily we can get swept up in the chaos!

WHO?

Platform Bending takes aim at anyone—be it influencers, followers, or everyday users—who spins or consumes false narratives online. It’s a wild ride where assumptions and judgments become fuel for the experiment, exposing how easily these stories can shape reality!

Platform Bending: Unmasking the Illusion of E-Reality

Platform Bending is an art form I created to turn the narratives people project onto me into a weapon. By manipulating the stories and drama of social media—what I call e-reality—I expose the absurdity of trying to define someone through a digital lens. It’s a social experiment that highlights how easily truth is bent in the pursuit of attention and image.

This work challenges the superficiality of online life, forcing us to question the blurred line between reality and perception. It reveals how quickly falsehoods consume us and how easily we become performers in a distorted digital world.

ReAD MY THESIS ON E-REALITY

E-Reality: The Digital Delusion

E-Reality is the fast-paced, chaotic digital world where personas are curated, and language is bent to serve attention and drama. In this space, people impose delusional narratives for validation, creating a blurred line between entertainment and reality.

We now exist in dual realities: the performative world online and the grounded reality we live in daily. These dual realities distort language, changing how we communicate in the real world, and compromise our sense of identity as we adapt to performative language instead of authentic expression.

WHAT'S THE PROBLEM?

The problem is that people haven’t realized that online crying, attention-seeking, and curated personas aren't the real world. They're spilling their trauma-driven projections onto an unaware audience, confusing digital performances with genuine, people, real-life interactions and relationships. This blurs the line between reality and E-Reality, leaving many trapped in cycles of delusion and false narratives.

MY E-REALITY MANIPULATIONS

January 2023 -  Had my Twitter Suspended

September 2024 - Influencers believe my accounts have been hacked

July 2024 - Facebook Memorialized on Fraudulent Documents

For a year, I crafted manic posts that fooled influencers into thinking I’d been hacked. In truth, it was a deliberate art piece—exposing how false narratives fuel covert abuse. This chaotic collage revealed just how easily people buy into fabrications, turning misunderstandings into power plays online. It’s a stark commentary on how manipulation thrives in digital spaces.

I had my Facebook memorialized with a fake death certificate, mirroring my sister's stunt of faking an FBI letter. It was all to show how easily reality can be warped with fraudulent documents, proving how quickly people believe "official" lies. It exposes the fragility of truth in the digital age.

I intentionally had my Twitter suspended as part of a social experiment to show how easily narratives can be twisted online. By provoking reactions and pushing the limits of "e-reality," I wanted to prove that social media isn't real life—it's just the stories people choose to believe.
